the fairy king

To friends I had promised my next post will be about a heavy sync with Andre3000 and his new album New Blue Sun, for a reason this has to wait, it will self-explain then...

But in the meantime a lot of more sync water ran down the mill:

It started with a dream or waking up from it. The dream itself and most of its details has another importance, so I do not need to describe it further here, but in it, I was also showing my drawings in my scetchbook to people. At the same time in my dream, I also witnessed a discussion of Christopher Knowles with two other persons, but he would not speak to me, only glancing at me for a while from a height.

When I woke up, somehow Alien creator artist H.G.Giger came to my mind, how he brought his lonely visions to life back in the 70`s. I remembered during my theatre time in St.Gallen, Switzerland, having been a frequent guest at his pub and how I later also met the lady that had translated the Alien script from Ridley Scott to him back then. I also have met Sir Ridley Scott while filming The Martian and those were amazing days back in 2014.

The said morning last week I also started to google works of Giger and searched for the record cover, I rememered he did: the one for Blondie singer Debbie Harry, with needles in her face, for her solo album "Kookoo" (1981).

Also I had seen a strange fashion advert by company Desigual, strange because it not only showed the Sphinx, wearing something like a sun-ray crown, but in the right upper corner the words "Under the Golden dawn", a link to the Magic Order "The Golden Dawn" Aleister Crowley was involved in. Instead I ordered a shirt with a painting from 80´s painter star Jean-Michel Basquiat, who often used a crown in his paintings.

Fast forward 2 days later, Saturday, I am busy with finding out about a certain colour palette and having some brainstorming on it.

During this, I also sccribbled down the words "surfing synchronicity" and the name "William S. Burroughs".

Next day, Sunday evening here in Europe, in our sacred fb group before mentioned Christoper Knowles writes about a dream he had with Comic artist Joseph Michael Linsner who told him about the suicide reason of William S. Burroughs, who in real life never killed himself.

Stunned I comment about the connection I see, that it wasn´t W.S.Burroughs - though heavily involved into heroin lunchs for the most part of his life - but painter Jean-Michael Basquiat - who died on an overdose of heroin. So we have the bitter golden shot of Burroughs fanboy Jean-Michel Basquiat (allegedly it was his favourite writer alive) self-crowned with a "Golden Dawn". The famous Comic heroine of creator Linsner IS called "Dawn"(!) and Mr. Knowley writes about "the Dawn of Time"!

So I had checked on Jean-Michel Basquiat and Burroughs and find a foto where they are together in what seems Burroughs`s flat and also sitting there is Debbie Harry! Another reader posts in the same group a picture with a bag of the three Charlie´s Angels, toghether with a bottle of beer/de-bee/bear, (standing on something like train tracks, with other train tracks in the background... more about this festure in my next post), titled "Boy`o this photo is loaded for bear". Bear is the tranlastion of my name also. What is there to restrain from? Three women, a theme I have under consideration since months, especially also during this week! The three weaver women of fate.

To top it, I find an artist, who created a song-collection based on the colour palette of Basquiat´s William S.Burrough painting. So even the theme of colour palette fits in smoothly here. And another funny clothing ad combination appears, this time it is Debbie Harry and "other dimensions" :)

Later the night Mr.Knowles announces "the Spirits are out in full force tonight", confirmed by a reader: "The synchronicities have been all gas no breaks."

I need some time out and I am happy needing to head early morning the next day to an office to exchange my beloved old driving licence for a new one - into an unknown part of the city. The train and the subsequent bus are packed with commuters and so are the staircases in every direction. A woman in the bus two times kicks my shoe accidentially(?), I meet her in the same office building again, she even asks me where to go for a new driving licence, floor 1 or 2?

I take the way back not by bus but by foot, taking my time to take some pictures of the area. The place is called "South pole", I find a cut tree with some mushrooms on it and at the canal some red berries mysticially woven into an amulett by nature. Is it a face?

Also, the now empty staircases to the train is what I document (see pictures below).

Back at home and as it is Monday, I check for the new weekly post over at bigskyastrology.com. And the dear lady writes the exact same symbols for this week:

-standing up very early, hasting out:

"Anyone who has commuted to a job knows what the First Quarter Moon in Aquarius (Nov. 20, 2023, 2:50 am PST) feels like. If the New Moon is the feeling of waking up in the morning, the First Quarter is what it’s like after we’ve showered, bolted a cup of coffee, and headed out the door."

- travelling to an unfamiliar part of our city:

"Sagittarius rules encounters with the unfamiliar. Some of them take us as far away as the other side of the world, where the sky is upside down. But simply traveling to an unfamiliar part of your own city will do the trick as well."

- heavy commuting:

"And in Aquarius, the First Quarter is like navigating a throng of people, all busy, all moving in the same general direction but with different destinations."

- strangers who help each other out:

"If you ride the same train or bus at the same time every day, you will see the same fellow commuters; you may eventually even begin acknowledging each other with a slight smile or nod....Strangers leap unquestioningly to one another’s aid, with no political, racial, or gender litmus test."

Even the picture I had taken with the staircase hallway was mirrored there!

- Sabian symbols: "The week begins with the Moon Report and a First Quarter Moon in Aquarius on November 20 at 2:50 am Pacific time, at 27º 50’ Aquarius, on the Sabian symbol 28 Aquarius, A tree felled and sawed

The Sun is on the symbol 28 Scorpio, King of the fairies approaching his domain."

"But it’s the job of the First Quarter Moon in Aquarius to create change. And, after all, there are things that can be built from a tree that has been cut down and sawed up. And, for all we know, the tree in the symbol was sick. It was beginning to drop its branches, or otherwise be dangerous, and it really needs to be cut down.

What I’m taking from this First Quarter overall, is that if we are destroying something, we owe it to that thing to use the available materials that are left over. It’s good to get rid of what isn’t healthy or useful, that can even be dangerous. Even in the areas of life we consider the safest."

But what about the king of fairies? The King was present with a crown and next morning I saw the Egyptian "king" Tutankhamun on a poster, at least also Egyptian. And his name "One perfect of life is Aten" - close to the question I am dealing now - what makes a good life, how can I contribute to a good life as an artist? In any case it is kind of a fairytale king, from another time. Or was the red berry amulett a hint from the fantasy tree king hidden in nature in plain sight?

And there is this flying theme (this is how I feel now, surfing over the waves of synchronicity), and note also the term "parallel bars"!):

"Here’s how to tap in to Mars: Imagine you’re a gymnast standing on a mat, your stomach a little fizzy, getting ready to leap onto the parallel bars. And then it’s happening. You’re flying through the air, fully present, completely centered in your body. And it feels absolutely, physically thrilling.

As Mars transits through the zodiac, it offers twelve different perspectives on throwing ourselves into the moment. As Mars enters Sagittarius (Dec. 13, 1:53 am PST), it’s time to go sky diving; and as we prepare to leap out of the plane, we’ll hope like hell that our parachute opens."

Ah yes and flying Peter Momoshi was texting me 2 days before, he would come to fly from here into the winter and what the heck another Peter calls me from America telling me also how he would fly into the winter and then I see this Peter Pan burger bar...something's up here with "Peter", more about it in my next post...

I further read Mr. Knowles' new book The Spandex Files.

First I read about how the Egyptians knew about the power of the alchemical marriage between words and pictures (p26),

then in chapter "How much Moore can you take?" on "understanding that the collision between Symbol and Synchronicity only truly takes flight after a long period of hard work" (p37), followed by the seldom important warning

"History is filled with the wreckage of magicans - even great ones - who didn`t realize that taking out the trash and balancing the checkbook was part of the process as well".

And he continues:

"Magic maybe the Crown of the Arts, but in the olden days wearing the crown simply meant bearing much heavier burdens than your subjects",

and closing with an event that happened, when he did "the boring work of recycling" about hearing a blue heron, that flew over him had whispered him about the "Dawn of time" (p38).

Thanks for your wise words!

And as if it was another confirmation: as I write into my scetch book the words "taking out the trash" a podcast voice echoes "Astreida is the star to do the cleaning up", followed by another echo, exactly when I write the word "dawn",´I hear: "it`s dawning".

Dawn close, innit?

I decide, we should establish a "synstitute", and write this down on my paper.

On my next walk in the evening I see the following sign of an undertaker, never seen before:

Happy ThanksGivingDay!
