Björn Freiberg was born 28th of March 1970 in Isny im Allgäu, Baden-Württemberg, Germany as eldest of six siblings.He was drawing and painting all is life.
During High School his Art teachers always furthered him to paint in his own style, nicknamed him “Picasso”.
During his Military Service 1989-1990 the Sergeant Major also organised him canvas, colors and a room to paint! :)
Björn Freiberg studied International Marketing (also in Notthingam), and History of Art, while also having his own studio at the Schanzenviertel area of Hamburg.
He then proceeded with acting for theatre (Alex in Clockwork Orange, pupille St.Gallen, Switzerland), while sleeping in the bed of Hermann Hesse and worked in an offset printing house, learned about colors, paper and printing.
In 1994 he moved to Debrecen Hungary, his drawings got published in Chalim Magazine, Switzerland, while he studied Philosophy, Economics and Law at University of Hagen, he wrote his thesis on Philip K. Dick.
In 2000 he moved to Györ, Hungary to teach with a scholarship of Robert-Bosch-Foundation at University of Györ. He also designed and programmed a new website for the Teachers Program of the Robert-Bosch-Foundation and held International Seminars on Intercultural Commonication, Media and Art.
In 2006 he had an exhibition at Kovacs Margit AMK Institute for Basic Art Education, Györ, Hungary.
In 2009 he received his Ph.D. in Management and Business Administration Sciences, from Szechenyi Istvan University Györ, Hungary.
He continued teaching until 2014, also for ELTE University Budapest, Pazmany-Peter-University, Universities of Istanbul, Triest, Espoo, Tallinn, Leon, Cluj-Napoca, Växjö and Gera-Eisenach, also having an exhibition 2012 at Csillag, Györ, Hungary.
From 2014-2022 Björn Freiberg was working with film directors like Laszlo Nemes (Son of Saul, Sunset), Sir Ridley Scott (The Martian), Ang Lee (Gemini Man), Denis Villeneuve (Blade Runner 2049, Dune I), Ron Howard (Inferno), Barry Levinson (The Survivor), Tim Miller (Terminator Dark Fate) and also for Chinese, Japanese and Bollywood films. He also did creative work for companies like COGNIZANT Information Technology and AUDI.

In 2022 he moved back to Hamburg in order focus again primarily on painting.
